John Livesey (British 1926-1990) was born in London to a well known theatrical family. He exhibited widely overseas, and there was a posthumous exhibition of his work in London in 1990. This oil on canvasboard illustrates a colourful impressionistic work with broad brush strokes, and two figures set within a woodland setting.
